House of the Dragon writer Sarah Hess opened up about fan reactions to Daemon Targaryen.
The evil prince, played by Matt Smith, made a strong impression by murdering his wife and then marrying his niece.

The proven truth that Daemon has become a fan favorite "stunned" Hess, she told The Hollywood Reporter.

Hess added: "I'm a little surprised at how they all say, 'Oh dad! And I'm the same as, 'Really?' How - in what way - was he a great partner to someone, father or brother? You understood me. It's not Paul Rudd.
